Fate Beats One of the first Wordsound albums I listened to, and as a kind of an intro course to illbient, this entry in the series really left an impression on me. Grade A illbient. To briefly cover the series, this is the album where I feel the songs cohere most into accessibility, whilst the second entry tends towards longer experimental tracks, and volume four is where things started getting weirder again. A good place to start listening to Wordsound. Favorite track: Over The Half World - Layng Martine.
